MSC Orders: December 11, 2012
The Michigan Supreme Court entered an order denying a prisoner’s motion to waive filing fees and an order correcting the lower court number on its opinion in In re Lovejoy Minors. It also entered an order in In the Matter of M J M LeBeau, Minor, vacating the opinion issued on November 8, 2012, and remanding to the trial court for further proceedings consistent with the amended opinion issued concurrently with the order. The court retained jurisdiction, but as described in the order, the opinion instructs the trial court to consider the effect of the child’s placement with relatives as it relates to the best-interest analysis.
